Hello!
I'm Michele and I am a lifelong lover of movement, dance, anatomy, art and yoga. I have extensive experience and have meticulously curated my professional skills to support you. With over 23 years of accredited teaching, I hold a B.F.A. in Dance and specialize in Yoga Narada® (formerly Hilary Cartwright's Yoga for Dancers). My years long study practice with creator Hilary Cartwright has broadened my perspective on how dance and yoga can holistically heal the body, mind, and spirit of anyone. Remaining under Hilary's nurturing guidance and support has been an absolute privilege, fostering individual growth as a teacher within the practice.

My thorough study of neuromuscular re-education, functional and kinesthetic anatomy, and Ideokinesis alongside Irene Dowd, Juilliard Professor, significantly shapes my teaching approach. I integrate Dowd's techniques of functional anatomy and kinesthetic imagery for effective communication in all my sessions.

I am also a licensed practitioner in the Gyrotonic® method from 2001.
Conducting both virtual and in-person private and group sessions, my diverse clientele includes elite dancers, athletes, children, mature adults, and individuals managing various health conditions such as cancer, Parkinson's, MS, and various neurological motor skill disorders. I specialize in addressing prevalent pain issues like lower back, hip, shoulder, and neck pain, joint concerns, and posture alignment.
Each client holds a special place in my heart.
As my wealth of experience fortunately includes fruitful collaborations with medical professionals such as Osteopaths, Physical Therapists, and Orthopedists, my ultimate goal is to attain optimal health and well-being for all I work with.
Passionate about my own studies, I firmly believe that every great teacher remains a perpetual student.
Be Well,
Michele
